Shōgo Misawa
Shōgo Misawa has made his home base of Tokyo his playground. Originally a jewelry designer, Shōgo discovered a passion for photography when he started shooting his motorcycle in different locales around the city. Over time, his vision for his work has changed, and he now finds himself inspired by the people and city scenes he encounters on his outings. He strives to capture the magic of what he sees in his fashion, portraiture, and street photography.
When shooting, Shōgo takes time to notice the range of moods, expressions, and emotions in a particular scene. He tries to capture the drama he sees in people and places, and aspires to maximize that drama through editing. He reveals that Instagram has become an essential tool for his self-expression, allowing him to share freely and for fun while simultaneously inspiring him for his next photo shoot.
